Bendon Digital Presence

The Job

Bendon’s digital presence was in dire need of a refresh. Their public website and employee intranet weren’t mobile-friendly and, despite owning a vast library of coloring book art and word search puzzles, had no apps to capitalize. We wanted to take our time to develop a presence that was fresh, cohesive, user-friendly, easily updated, and long-lasting.

The Solution

Before anything work could be started, the project needed green-lit. I developed a proposal for the four pieces—website, intranet sub-site, coloring app, and puzzle app—with ways to offset costs that I pitched to management. Once approved, I partnered with a web and mobile software company in Cleveland on creating a soft, bright look that could be scaled across all of our applications and was within Bendon’s identity. Based on our input from Bendon, they handled all coding with many custom pieces such as new ways to sort employee documents and a from-scratch word search generator. I continued to work with them through extensive UI/UX testing until we were satisfied with the finished product.
