The Job
In 2021, Bendon was turning 20 years old and celebrations were in order! I was selected to a small, internal team to develop a ways to announce this milestone internally to employees and externally to the local community and business partners. The three main objectives were to bring awareness to the anniversary itself, call attention to what had made Bendon so successful, and note all that had been accomplished in twenty years.
The Solution
With the team’s input, I first created an anniversary logo that marked the occasion, staying within Bendon’s evergreen identity. The outer spectrum mirrors the standard logo and alludes to Bendon’s wide array of products while the big, bold “20” and year push the anniversary front-and-center. For messaging, we created a mosaic of coloring book covers from past and present to use as a backdrop and specific milestones of the company today. These three elements were applied across a special landing page, business cards, presentations, billboards, ads, and more.
